  For Immediate Release:     VAN EATON GALLERIES ANNOUNCES RESULTS HIGHLIGHTS FROM THIS WEEKEND’S ART OF ENTERTAINMENT: POP CULTURE & DISNEYLAND AUCTION   Los Angeles, California – (May 7, 2019) – On Saturday, May 4, 2019, Van Eaton Galleries hosted its first joint pop culture and Disneyland auction of 2019 at the Sherman Oaks gallery. Bidders from around the globe bid by phone, online and on-site during the all-day auction featuring over 700 lots. From original artwork to the memorabilia that defined our youth, The Art of Entertainment auction saw many lots sell for well over their initial estimates.   Highlights of the sale included the Back to the Future: Part III Drew Struzan original painting which sold for $80,500; a “Murder by Death” poster artwork by Charles Addams sold for $86,250; Walt Disney’s “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea” Presentation Nautilus sold for $36,800; the Adventure Through Inner Space Atommobile prop sold for $23,000 and an original “Peanuts” Comic Strip artwork by Charles Schulz sold for $14,950.   Other highlights included items which sold for well over their original estimates.
